How can I use the consultation?

Questions you might have...

“How long is the voucher valid for?”

Usually they are valid for a year - but I am making them valid for 18 months to cover any possible future Lockdowns.

Can I the consultation be rescheduled?

Yes, happy to reschedule - but being a small business I would very much value at least 48 hours notice.  Of course if you are affected by the virus I will be as helpful as I can to reschedule to another date.

If you have an in person booking and are concerned you have symptoms of the virus or need to shield - the consultation can be moved online for you.

When do I need to return the completed the questionnaire by?

I'd love the questionnaire a week before the appointment .

At least 48 hours before.

What is different about your interior design services?

The services themselves are the same as my industry colleagues - but when it comes to sourcing I will be showing you options that are lower impact to planet, animals and humans.   I will find out what issues concern you most and I will make suggestions to suit.

What is different about the products you source?

Many of the things I’ll show you are not all that different except I’m using recycled content, buying from certified sources or avoiding animal testing and animal products.  There are many beautiful and exciting options to look at.

What qualifies you to offer interior design services?

I’ve worked in design for over 26 years and have studied both furniture and interior design.  Being a BIID Registered Interior Designer® at the British Institute of Interior Design means I have a commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD).  I’ve taken exams in human centric design and cruelty free design.  I love learning and I love to research.

What area do you offer in person consultations?

Anywhere in Brighton and Hove.

I can travel further - travel time would be chargeable.

Will you provide solutions during the consultation?

You can appreciate there are lots of variables here.  Interior design covers very many areas and specifications!  I will do my best.

If in person, I will bring my ipad with me so I can access my product library and the internet.

If online, I will have access to my product library and the internet -  but some things might have to follow on afterwards.  I won't be able to answer everything on the spot.  The better you prepare me for areas you need help - the more prepared I will be.

Depending on the amount you need to work through - sometimes I finish the consultation early to use the time to work on things you need sourcing.

Or I can do further sourcing for you. I am very happy to help further on an hourly basis or using discounted time packages for this follow up help.

Will you write up notes for me?

You make your own notes during the consultation.

I am very happy to help further on an hourly basis or using discounted time packages for this follow up help.

About me...

Chloe Bullock

Born and raised in sunny Brighton.  I have studied design, worked in design and have had my own design company since 2005!

I have 26 years design experience and I offer all the standard interior design help as my fellow interior designers PLUS I also design beautiful interiors with a focus on sustainability, healthy & cruelty free specifications.

I've been working on projects ONLINE for clients for a few years.

sustainable and crulety free interior

I passionately want to ADD VALUE for my clients by ensuring the spaces I deliver are healthy for the users and low impact on people and nature as well.

I want to look at the design holistically.  Aesthetics are super important but I want to help more than that.

Example image

I find many clients working on updates at home have such great ideas themselves but they just need help making them happen.

There are so many hurdles to getting to the end of a project and sometimes the initial ideas clients were passionate about don’t make it into the space at the end.  I really want to help my clients to get what they want.  Sometimes a consultation from me is enough to get them back on the tracks and have a second opinion to back them up!

Prior to setting up my own interior design company 15 years ago,  I was an 3D designer for The Body Shop’s head office working on store and retail concepts globally.  This where my knowledge of LOW IMPACT INTERIOR DESIGN has come from.

My learnings on environmental awareness, sustainability using circular economy principles and cruelty-free specifications learnt at The Body Shop, have translated into my own interior design business.

I went on to be the first interior designer in the UK to be VEGANDESIGN ORG CERTIFIED™.
